Rugby School Welcomes Quarter Proof Founders to Entrepreneurship Event

On 30th November 2024, Rugby School hosted an entrepreneurship event for current XX students, featuring Rugbeian entrepreneurs, Fabian Clark (SH 02-07) and Rohan Radhakrishnan (SH 02-07). The pair, co-founders of the business Quarter Proof, shared their entrepreneurial journey, offering valuable insights into the challenges and triumphs of launching a start-up.

Fabian and Rohan candidly discussed the inspiration behind Quarter Proof and their experiences in building the company from the ground up. Their story highlighted the importance of resilience, adaptability, and creative problem-solving in the entrepreneurial world.

The event was more than just a masterclass in entrepreneurship; it was a two-way learning experience. While Fabian and Rohan hoped to inspire the next generation of Rugbeian entrepreneurs to think differently about their career paths and choices, they, in turn, found themselves learning from the insightful questions and fresh perspectives of the students.

As the founders reflected, “We hope we taught them a thing or two and inspired them to think differently about their career path and choices, but what did we learn from them?” “From what I see and hear, there is certainly still an intrigue in the category, but the binge-drinking culture of our day doesn’t appeal to them. They are far more clued up on the impact of alcohol on their mental and physical wellbeing and want to ensure they can still achieve their goals.”

This mindset of seeking greater balance and optimization resonated with the Quarter Proof founders. They found it inspiring that the students were not only conscious of their health but were also considering how their choices today could influence their future success and overall happiness.

Events like this not only provide students with the chance to hear first-hand from successful alumni but also create a space for meaningful discussion that helps shape their own ambition, challenge assumptions and to embrace a mindset of continuous learning.

A huge thank you, once again, to Rohan and Fabian.
