The Arnold Foundation is funded entirely through voluntary donations and we rely on the generosity of our community to ensure that the Foundation can continue to support this successful Rugby School programme. With your gift, more children will benefit from a Rugby School education.
We are so proud of our Arnold Foundation students; from studying at top universities, embarking on substantial careers and for improving the lives of those around them.
They might leave Rugby but they remain very much engaged with the School. Many regularly attend and speak at events, and provide advice for our current students using their experience to support and inspire.
They are our Ambassadors, role models, leaders and active participants in the alumni business and social networking community.
The generosity of supporters makes the life-changing impact of The Arnold Foundation and Earle Fund possible. We welcome gifts of any size – very contribution makes a difference. The easiest way to donate via in the UK is via our secure online donation form.

In 1567 Lawrence Sheriff took the first steps towards creating history. He left a bequest in his Will to found a school to educate the boys of Rugby and Brownsover. Rugby School began with a gift of £50 and an orchard in Bloomsbury.
Hundreds of years on, your legacy gift can make a lasting impact on future generations at Bilton Grange or Rugby School. As a Legacy pledger, you will become a member of the Charles Shorto Society, named for Rugbeian Charles Shorto (B 1918-23) who left a substantial gift in his will.
“A legacy pledge is a great equaliser: a Rugbeian who has chosen a life of service or caring may not find it as easy as someone who works in finance to make a large lifetime donation, but anyone can include a legacy gift in their will. You can inflation-proof your gift by pledging a percentage of your estate (as opposed to a defined sum), and this will also protect the share that your other beneficiaries receive.”
