The Rugbeian Society
Welcome to the Rugbeian Society!
Founded in 1889 as the Old Rugbeian Society, our mission is to uphold the lasting bonds and camaraderie among former pupils of Rugby School. Today, the Rugbeian Society extends across the globe, with active chapters in many countries and regions of the United Kingdom, as well as those who have attended Rugby School’s international campuses.
We offer a variety of ways to stay connected, including our online platform and app, as well as our renowned annual publication, The Floreat. Throughout the year, we host a diverse range of events such as House Dinners, Business Forums, music concerts, theatre trips, and sporting activities, providing opportunities for Rugbeians to reconnect and engage.
We are also proud to play a key role in supporting The Arnold Foundation through fundraising initiatives.
Be sure to check our website for the latest updates on upcoming events, as there’s always something exciting on the horizon. You can also explore past events through our regularly updated photo galleries. We look forward to welcoming you to an event soon!

Message from the President
Welcome to the Rugbeian Society. I am particularly delighted to extend a warm greeting to our international alumni from Rugby School Thailand and Rugby School Japan. We are committed to fostering connections through sports sponsorships, reunions, networking events, and professional support. We proudly sponsor sports events, with teams in disciplines such as Association Football, Rackets, and Cricket. We also support the Rugbeian Trophies for the annual Crick Run.
If you have particular hobbies, sports, interests, or reunion ideas that you’d like to explore, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We are always eager to assist in creating new opportunities for our members. I look forward to meeting many of you at our events.
