Charles lives in near Bridgnorth in Shropshire with his wife Katy Carver.
They have 3 children, Sam (SH 04-09), Toby (SH 07-12) and Poppy (B 12-17).
Chairman and Group Managing of C+F Group Holding Ltd. which is a group involved in the engineering sector, manufacturing components mainly for the Automotive Industry.
He was chairman of the Shropshire Deaf Children’s Society for 15 years, retiring from that post some 5 years ago.
Currently he is chairman of the Governors of Claverley C of E School and has been for the past 6 years, being a Governor there for the past 11 years.
He is a keen golfer and a member of the ORGS, SSGC and current Captain of the Birmingham Engineering and Building Centre Golf Society.
