To mark International Women's Day, all female pupils and members of staff were invited to join a 'These Girls Can' event in the Library. Ms Goodwin opened the event by reflecting on what true empowerment and change might look like then, fuelled with free-flowing hot chocolate and cake, the girls wrote words of positive affirmation to each other and shared books and poems. There was a wonderful buzz as so many truly powerful women, of all ages, came together, and it was lovely to see older girls coming alongside the younger years to reflect, to laugh and to look towards a more equitable future.
