The Leavers’ Ball on Wednesday evening was spectacular. Arriving in various forms as diverse as an NYPD police car or a crane on the front of a tractor, the children walked along the red carpet at North Entrance for drinks with their parents before heading on down to a very different-looking Ravenscroft. Fittingly, it took on a surfing theme and the hall was decked out with clever beach-style touches, nods to Hawaiian culture and oversized pineapples. Tropical Bob spun the hits and the surf-board simulator provided the evening’s competitive element. Caken reigned supreme on this one! With a heartfelt speech from our Deputy Heads of School, it was a memorable evening and I bow in gratitude to the extraordinary efforts of the 6th Form parents who worked so hard to pull all this together. Dedication to providing a great time – thank you so much.
