Bilton Grange Society News |
The Bilton Grange Society thanks the Head and the Rugbeian Community team for allowing OB Day to be incorporated so smoothly into the School's events on 10 June. Golf, Cricket and Rounders ensured that the afternoon got off to a good start, and the extravagant tea served at the Carr Pavilion was very well-received by all.
The AGM was conducted in alfresco style, but not without due process, including remembering those Biltonians and Homefieldians whom we had lost over the preceding year. The Bilton Song was rendered rousingly, thanks to the use of a Bluetooth speaker, technology not available at the time that PHB Lyon, former Headmaster of Rugby School, composed his memorable piece, so beloved of Biltonians.
The evening saw OBs join current parents and staff at 'White Lights in the Woods.' Never before had the Wild Gardens seen such legal frivolity, such woodland chic wildness. What a great and innovative event!
