At Bilton Grange, we cherish our 90-acre classroom, but did you know that the Bilton Grange estate was once significantly larger?
When the estate was sold as a private residence in 1882, the sale particulars recorded a total of more than 1,000 acres. This included an unbroken expanse of 943 acres, encompassing land and properties in Onley, Grandborough, and Willoughby, with a further 200 acres in Hillmorton.
A fascinating glimpse into the estate’s rich history and its enduring legacy.
