ORs lost 1-5. It is often the case with this match, primarily against the Oxford students, that being the 4th or 5th week of term, any newcomers to the sport who have played other sports with transferable skills, especially Rackets, find themselves improving far too quickly for their handicap ratings to reflect a realistic level of ability. We found this in a couple of instances this time.

Swallow vs Goss won 4-6, 4-6

Dick vs Grier lost 6-4, 6-3
