On Friday, July 7th, David Harding and Charles and Emma Cockerton joined Hugh Olliphant on his Hunter 27 yacht for the second Sail On The Bay. With strong winds and waves, the conditions were perfect for some adventurous sailing. We headed northwest out of the marina toward the Golden Gate Bridge, stopping briefly at Horseshoe Bay in the Marin Headlands before returning to San Francisco. We made it safely back on dry land thanks to Hugh’s expert directions to his novice crew. Michael and Julie Whitcomb then joined us at Radhaus in Fort Mason for bratwursts, beer and lively discussion, including finalizing a global pass in the Presidio in September, to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of rugby football.
