San Francisco Global Pass and Picnic

On Sunday 17 Sept, England beat Japan in their World Cup match in Nice. Across the globe in San Francisco, a group of Rugbeians, friends and family gathered to celebrate the bicentennial of the game.

Taking advantage of the space at the Main Parade Lawn in the Presidio, the group passed the ball with enthusiasm to match the national squad - only the speed and skill were lacking. With views of the Bay and a dozen food trucks, the location was the perfect spot to enjoy a Sunday afternoon picnic, catch up with old friends and welcome new.
