Last weekend, members of our community took part in a 22km charity walk. Organised by Bilton Grange teacher, Jayne Brumpton, the four walked the ’22 for the 22’ – 22km for the 22 women a day in the UK diagnosed with lobular breast cancer. They were part of a 22-strong group raising money for the Lobular Moon Shot Project, aiming to fund research into lobular breast cancer, which affects over 8000 women in the UK every year. The walk took place along the Grand union Canal from Napton Junction (where it joins the Oxford Canal) to the Aylesford (Oncology) Unit at Warwick hospital. So far, they have raised over £2700 for the campaign. Huge congratulations!
