Flora Vesterberg (St 10-12) Accepted onto Prestigious PhD Programme at The Courtauld

Flora Vesterberg (née Ogilvy, St 10-12) has been accepted onto the prestigious PhD programme at The Courtauld Institute of Art, where she previously completed her master’s degree. An accomplished art historian and broadcaster, Flora is committed to education and scholarship in the field of art history.

"It has been a long-held dream, and I've been working quietly on my research proposal since I completed my master's degree. This was my second attempt at applying, and so I'm very grateful to finally be beginning my research into Nordic Impressionism," she said.

Alongside her academic pursuits, Flora is an active member of The Courtauld’s Campaign Board and serves as Co-chair of the Young Patrons’ Circle at the Victoria & Albert Museum. A respected voice in the art world, she is a regular columnist for Condé Nast Traveller and contributes to Vogue, Sotheby’s, and Frieze. She also lectures at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art and other leading institutions.

Her acceptance onto The Courtauld’s PhD programme marks another milestone in an already distinguished career, and we look forward to following her continued success.
