Rugby School's most-capped rugby football international, Will Rowlands (SH 05-10), continues to add to his impressive number of appearances for Wales. Having long ago surpassed the tally of the legendary England captain, Ronnie Poulton-Palmer, who fell on active service in 1916, Will this year played in the full set of Six Nations matches. Team results did not go his side's way, but there is no doubting Will's admirable credentials. A lock forward of immense experience, Will's defensive work has rightly earned a strong reputation, but he also carries the ball to great effect, and he has many more international opportunities to come, one hopes.
