Rugbeian Minnie Parmiter (S 99-03) has recently launched Copper Lion Gin, a British dry gin that she has spent the last five years perfecting together with co-founder Angus Maclean in their Cotswolds distillery.

The inception of Copper Lion Distillery resulted from a chance encounter between Angus and Minnie, combined with a shared passion for creating truly remarkable spirits. Drawing on their mutual appreciation for drinking whisky, Minnie and Angus were determined to design a gin with the balance, complexity, and texture suitable for enjoying on its own or in a mix. After a few false starts, plenty of testing, and persistence, they have brought their vision to fruition with Copper Lion. Crafted and distilled with care in the heart of the Cotswolds, Minnie ensures that each handcrafted batch meets her high standards, and the results speak for themselves.

All the hard work has culminated in the product and website being launched in December 2023. So far, they have received wonderful reviews, with feedback far exceeding expectations.
