Rugby School will be attending the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens

Rugby School, birthplace of the game, has a splendid marquee at Rosslyn Park National School Sevens this year and we
would be delighted to see you there.

We are celebrating the 200th anniversary of rugby football in style and invite you to join us for refreshments with our senior team who will be there to welcome you and provide an insight into life at Rugby, from sporting talent pathways and scholarships, to academic
innovation and our strong boarding ethos.

Staff during the week will include Head Master Gareth Parker-Jones; Director of Sport, Debbie Skene; Director of Admissions, Laura Bursey Faulkner and Head of Co-curricular Recruitment, Nick Tester.

Highlights on the field itself for Rugby School will feature:

  • Our first ever girls’ team in Thursday’s U18 open competition
  • VII in the U18 boys’ vase, and after two appearances in finals in recent years, ambitions will be high…
  • U14 boys in action on the Tuesday - they will have high hopes of progressing deep into the competition, given last term’s 15-a-side success
  • U16 team in the boys’ colts competition and there’s some exciting talent in the squad
