Rugby School News |
Sadly this event has been cancelled due to not enough participant sign-ups. We are looking at rescheduling for later in the year if there is enough interest
Be a part of rugby history! Join us at school on Sunday 23rd April and help us beat the current world record for the world’s biggest uncontested scrum! If you or your children are between 10 and 17 (or 18 and still at school), come along to The Close on the 23rd and be part of a new world record!
Registration for the event starts at 12.15pm, with the actual scrum taking place from 1pm – 1.45pm. There will be food and drink stalls, and every participant gets a certificate and a t-shirt. To participate, register before midday on 11th April, using this link.
There’s a £5 charge to take part, and the day will raise awareness of two great charities - Wooden Spoon, the rugby charity that funds life-changing projects across the UK & Ireland supporting vulnerable children and young people and our own 1823 bursary fund which is in honour of Webb Ellis, who was a bursary student. The bursary will offer means-tested places at Rugby School for boys or girls who show significant promise and aptitude for sport and a commitment to Rugby Football, with up to 100% of fees and essential extras available.
Come and join us and be part of rugby history!
