The Audacious Run comes to Rugby School

The UK Government's GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland campaign promotes the UK across the globe, with the aim of encouraging people to visit, study or do business with the UK.

This September they are launching a major campaign in France ("Welcome to the Audacious Kingdom"), where they plan to show a different side of the UK through the lens of audacity. The campaign will focus on those who dare to see things differently and will highlight that the UK is a nation of creators, trend-setters and innovators who defy the status quo.

I am pleased to say that Rugby School is going to play a major role in the launch of this campaign and invite you all to join us on The Close at 11am on Saturday 26 August to cheer on William Webb Ellis.

'The Audacious Run' - will see a young 'William Webb Ellis' brought back to life and run all the way from Rugby School to Paris ahead of the Rugby World Cup starting. It would be great to see as many of you down here as possible to cheer him on his way.
