GCSE Drama students shine at the Local Schools Secondary Drama Festival

On Monday 15th January GCSE saw the return of the Local Schools Secondary Drama Festival! GCSE Drama students form the local area took to the Macready Theatre stage to share forthcoming examination work, alongside teachers making moderation notes.

Rugby School, Rugby Free Secondary School, Rugby High School and Arnold Lodge School collaborated to preview both scripted and devised ‘in progress’ examination pieces. There was a mix of physical theatre, serious and wonderful comedic performances. Following the performances, students were part of a Q and A session where they responded to each other’s work; offering constructive feedback. All students involved demonstrated bravery on stage and support towards each other.

We would like to thank RFSS, AL and RHS for being part of this collaborative event further building our relationships with you all. A fantastic learning event for all involved.
