Rugby School News |
This Movember, Rugby School students and staff united in creative and energetic ways to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, so far collecting an impressive total of £1,938.
One standout initiative came from Monroe, a current School House student, who spearheaded a hot food stall in the Stodge every Wednesday. From crafting giant handmade moustache signs to designing menus, creating detailed plans, and managing a budget, Monroe went above and beyond to support this worthy cause. With the help of his housemates and the Chartwells catering team, the stall became a resounding success, raising £400.
Beyond Monroe’s initiative, the school community came together for other exciting fundraising activities:
£718 was raised by a spirited student vs. staff touch rugby match.
£820 was collected through a lively darts tournament.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, organized, or supported these efforts. Your contributions have not only raised vital funds but also heightened awareness for men’s health.
