In 2023 the rackets courts at Rugby School will undergo a major refurbishment ahead of the appointment of a new professional coach in the Advent Term. With a renewed combination of top talent and resources, we hope to see a reinvigorated Rugby Rackets team regaining its place in the spotlight and attracting more players, both boys and girls, to the sport at School and beyond.
The majority of the cost of the refurbishment is covered by a generous £15,000 grant from the Tennis & Rackets Association and investment by the School. The Rackets players of the Rugbeian Society, led by Charlie Foreman (K 76-80), have offered to raise funds to cover the remaining £15,000. If you can make a contribution to this appeal, please give generously and help usher in a new era of Rackets at Rugby.
