In June we worked with Sotheby’s Wine and some of our very generous supporters to consign a fabulous collection of beautiful wines and outstanding experiences which were auctioned to raise funds as part of our 18th Birthday Celebration. Amongst the lots we had a huge variety of wine but the auction wasn’t just limited to bottles! We also had a range of wonderful experiences including a private dinner with wine legend Hugh Johnson OBE and an exclusive VIP tour and tasting hosted by Saskia de Rothschild (B 00-01) at her family’s estate, Chateau Lafite-Rothschild. After some intense bidding the auction concluded with a whopping £134,000 donation as part of our 18th Birthday Celebration.
