Douglas Davies cycles 400km non-stop for the Arnold Foundation

Douglas smashed his target of £1,000 to help fund the Arnold Foundation, and the just giving page is still open.

On Saturday 24 September 2022, as other students were enjoying a relaxing autumn exeat, Douglas Davies rode 400km nonstop with the aim of completing nearly half the distance from north to south England in less than one day. Prior to this mammoth continuous ride, Douglas had cycled from Devon to Rugby, 350km, on his own age 15. He chose to do this extraordinary challenge to support of the Rugby School Arnold Foundation as he has good friends at the school who attend through the bursary programme, and he believes the Arnold Foundation students are such valuable assets to the school. Douglas's Douglas's Just Giving page is still live and can be accessed via this link and 100% of the money raised goes directly to the fund.
