We are delighted to announce that Chudé Chidi-ofong (Sh 85-90) has been appointed as President of the Charles Shorto Legacy Society at Rugby School. Chidi brings exceptional enthusiasm and dedication to this important role, and we look forward to sharing his passion for ensuring the future success of Rugby School and The Arnold Foundation through the generosity of gifts in Wills.

The Charles Shorto Legacy Society celebrates the remarkable individuals who have included Rugby School or The Arnold Foundation in their Will. With a thriving membership of over 420, the Society reflects a collective commitment to shaping the future of the School and its students.

Since the establishment of The Arnold Foundation, legacy gifts have contributed over £4 million. These contributions have created opportunities that profoundly impact the lives of young people, ensuring that Rugby’s legacy of excellence and inclusivity continues to flourish for generations to come.

Chidi shared his thoughts on taking up this role:

“I loved my time at Rugby School, so it seemed natural to do anything I could to support and give back. Helping the Charles Shorto Legacy Society is a small but important step that will impact generations to come.”
