Bilton Grange School News |
Bilton Grange Preparatory School was established in 1873 and has been proudly located at its current site since 1887. From September 2023 to 2024, we commemorated our 150th anniversary with a year-long celebration known as 'BG150.'
Throughout this milestone year we hosted numerous events, bringing together over 400 members of the Bilton Grange community. These efforts raised more than £50,000 for the Earle Fund, supporting additional boarding bursaries at Bilton Grange, enabling us to inspire and nurture even more young minds in the future.
The celebrations began with a successful Launch Party, where over 100 guests enjoyed canapés, fireworks, and live music performed by Bilton Grange pupils. In May, we welcomed back 38 Homefieldians for the Homefield Reunion, featuring archive displays, afternoon tea, and the presentation of a blue plaque. The festivities culminated in a spectacular Summer Ball, a black-tie event attended by over 150 Biltonians, staff, parents, and friends of the school. The following day, the celebration concluded with an MCC cricket match and a closing tea party, where we sealed the Time Capsule, which will be placed in the new boarding house.
BG150 Membership and Patronage
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our BG150 Members and Patrons for your generous support throughout our 150th anniversary celebrations. The funds you have contributed have significantly bolstered the Earle Fund, Bilton Grange’s boarding bursary program. We hope you enjoyed the various events throughout the year and look forward to sending you your complimentary copy of the Bilton Record, which includes your name in recognition of your generosity. Your name has also been placed in the 150th anniversary Time Capsule, and BG150 Patrons have been immortalized on the Armillary Sphere that now graces the grounds of Bilton Grange, commemorating this historic year.
