Inspiring the future of
students and our schools.
Every year, the parents of pupils leaving Bilton Grange and Rugby School reflect on the lifelong impact and exceptional opportunities their children have enjoyed. Many feel strongly about extending these opportunities to other children who could benefit greatly from a boarding education, but whose families might not otherwise afford it.
The ‘Class of’ Gift Campaign continues to be a tremendous success, raising funds to support future generations of students attending a boarding school education at Rugby School. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the generosity and support of the Rugby School community, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to the many families who, as part of this campaign, choose to donate their deposits to The Arnold Foundation.
Your kindness is helping to transform lives by enabling talented students to benefit from a Rugby School education, regardless of their financial background. We are particularly grateful to those families who choose to go above and beyond, providing an additional level of support to the campaign. Previously, their contributions have made it possible to fund a full Sixth Form place for an Arnold Foundation student. This incredible gift ensures that a deserving young person will now has the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of your children and experience the exceptional education, character-building opportunities, and lifelong connections that Rugby School offers.
The Arnold Foundation plays a critical role in advancing social mobility, and the generosity shown by the former parents and families exemplifies the spirit of giving. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the lives of bright, motivated students, opening doors to a brighter future. Thank you once again for your commitment and support in making this possible.
Building on the momentum of last year’s leavers gifts, we invite you to join a cherished tradition, a final collective act of the parent body to mark this milestone by donating your school deposit to the Arnold Foundation. We have established a ‘Class of 2026 Gift’ fund allowing contributions to The Earle Fund and The Arnold Foundation to be passed on to a new generation of students who join us in September. We are delighted to accept a gift of any amount and aim to raise another £100,000 from the Class of 2026, which will fully fund an Earle Fund and Arnold Foundation student otherwise unable to experience a boarding education.
Thank you for joining us on this meaningful mission.

"The level of academic support was impressive, especially as teachers were on hand during evenings and at weekends and were always ready to help. I knew early on that chemistry was my subject, closely followed by computing. The Rugby labs were amazing both in terms of space and equipment. I went to Edinburgh University to read Chemistry and stayed on to do a five-year Masters, which included a four-week exchange programme with Tianjin University in China. What I learned as an Arnold Foundation student at Rugby was to seize opportunities. There were so many on offer."

"Even if you are confident about the school, as a parent you feel you are handing over your child. The Arnold Foundation and Rugby have always made me feel that my place in my child’s life is respected; they have supported us from the start, and I am grateful, too, for their standards of privacy and confidentiality in all our dealings."

"A boarding school is strange environment for any new pupil, sometimes overwhelming, but our Earle Fund students have adjusted quickly, gaining confidence, making friends, and being up for all the opportunities and activities we offer. It’s wonderful to see they thrive here at Bilton Grange."

“I was born in Uganda and came to the UK when I was seven and I was one of the first students on the Arnold Foundation programme via IntoUniversity. My family were asylum seekers but had the benefits of family already here. Rugby taught me to be fearless, go against the grain, work hard, push yourself, and expand your outlook. There is nothing to lose. You’ll always learn along the way.”
