To celebrate the bicentenary of rugby football and William Webb Ellis' fine disregard for the rules the archives has put on a brand new exhibition in The Lewis Gallery.

He Ran With It ... celebrates how the game went from The Close to being played world wide using artefacts, documents, images and artwork from the collection.

He Ran With It ... will be on display at the School until April when it will move online and will be open again in September and October in the Rugby Art Gallery
