Tim Grandage’s (W 71-76) charity, Future Hope, recently hosted cricket legend Freddie Flintoff and his team in Kolkata, as part of the BBC series, Field of Dreams On Tour. Flintoff’s team got a taste of Kolkata’s vibrant cricket culture, taking on some of Future Hope’s best players in an exciting match of gully cricket. This heartwarming encounter captured the essence of sport, community, and the life-changing work of Future Hope.

About Future Hope
Future Hope was founded by Rugbeian Tim Grandage in 1987. The charity provides vulnerable children in Kolkata with opportunities through education, sports, and holistic care. With support from Rugby School students, staff, parents, alumni, and wider members of the Rugbeian Community, this charity continues to transform lives. As one student, Biswajit, said: "Future Hope is family to me. A family who has given me a big opportunity to become something."
