Arnold Foundation News |
In April a group of young Biltonians and Rugbeians spent two weeks calling members of the Rugbeian Community of all ages. Speaking to more than 600 individuals, they listened to their stories, learned from their experiences, and asked them to commit to making regular donations to the Arnold Foundation and Earle Fund. At the end of the Telephone Campaign, more than £100,000 was donated by Biltonians, Homefieldians, Rugbeians of all ages, and their families too.
Regular gifts are essential to the success of the Arnold Foundation and Earle Fund. Last year our regular givers funded four of our 40 students. As Earle Fund pupils move up to Rugby, we need to be sure that our commitment to their funding for a further five years is matched by the commitment of our supporters.
Our callers particularly enjoyed listening to stories of school days gone by, with recollections of legendary rugby matches, unforgettable Gilbert and Sullivan performances and endless laughter in the boarding houses with friends. We are enormously grateful to all those who joined the campaign and made gifts of any size.
