Harry Mallinder (T 09-14) joins NFL through International Player Program

Rugbeian and former Northampton Saints player, Harry Mallinder, has embarked on an exciting new chapter by joining the international player pathway (IPP) for the NFL, following in the footsteps of fellow rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit.

Since leaving Rugby School in 2014, Harry has carved himself an impressive rugby career, playing for Northampton from 2013 to 2021 before venturing to Japan with the Black Rams Tokyo. Renowned for his versatility as a back, Mallinder has showcased his skills at fly-half, inside centre, and fullback. His rugby journey includes representing England at age-grade levels and joining the national side's tour to Argentina in 2017.

Harry has chosen to enter the IPP as a kicker and punter. The bold move underscores the growing trend of rugby talents exploring opportunities in American football, adding an intriguing layer to their already illustrious sporting careers. We'll be following Harry's transition with keen interest!
